The organization supports and challenges businesses and governments while connecting farmers and workers with the people who buy their products. Fair Trade Denmark came to us to ask to develop a concept for them that would change the attitude towards the organization and result in the increase of Fair Trade products sell. How can we get Fair Trade customers into the regular purchase of Fair Trade products? Concept FairTreat – abonnement for a regular delivery of a mix of Fairtrade products adjusted to each customer’s individual preferences. Research / Approach We all want to be better, to do better, to feel better and to look better. All of us strive to be a better version of ourselves as well as to be admired by others. A lifestyle nowadays is an important element when designing for human needs. The FairTreat goal is to involve danish families into buying Fairtrade products regularly and create a lifestyle element out of it. Our concept will be focused on customers’ engagement and loyalty. Therefore we’re going to introduce a Loyalty club where customers can subscribe for a monthly, or other type of delivery of collected Fairtrade products. Webshop We decide to make it simple but functional. In order to encourage Fairtrade customer to sign up for the regular delivery it needs not only be easy to navigate but also it has to put focus on their needs. Therefore the sign up process is designed that way that the user can set his/her preferences about products, as well as size of the box and delivery frequency.
